Omey, Elizabeth (Betty) Louise (nee: Kleeschulte), 69, of Calverton Park, MO, died on October 8th, 2021.


Betty was born at Burtonwood Air Force Base, United Kingdom, and graduated from Berkeley MO High School.


Betty was married to Leroy Omey on July 4th, 1997; they were married for 24 years.


Betty worked as a Nanny and housekeeper for the Desloge family, then on to the housekeeper for St. Sabina Rectory for 25+ years before retiring to enjoy spending time with her husband and dogs.


Betty was a lover of life and brought that spirit to everyone everywhere she went, always the life of the party.  She loved watching movies, especially the scary, spoiling her kids, the furry ones, as well as her son and grandkids. She enjoyed spending time at the river with her husband and furries. Betty also was Selfless, 4th of July, Sacrifice, Laughter, Party, Fascinating, Mudslides, Thoughtful, Fudge, Crazy, Adventures, Uplifting, Cool...


Betty is survived by her husband, Leroy Omey; her son, Chris Gaw; her grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, and Josh; great-grandson Jason; dear sibling to her twin brother Robert (Bob) Kleeschulte, and sisters Patricia (Pat) Boyce, and Sandy Wood, crazy Aunt Betty to soo many.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Kleeschulte, and her brother, Davey Kleeschulte.


A celebration of her life the way she would do it will be held at a time in the near future.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society; American Cancer Society. The family of Betty Omey wishes to thank the excellent staff at SSM Hospice and Delmar Gardens.
