James G. “Jim” Berger, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Phyllis Berger; cherished son of the late Edwin and Henrietta Berger; devoted father of Jean Berger-Overall and Karen (Mark) Franklin; step-father of Amy (Mark) Harris; loving grandfather of Talisha Overall, Tim Kaltenbach, Madison Harris, and Lindsey Harris; dear brother of Phyllis (the late Robert) Smith, Henrietta (the late Wayne) Meyer the late Charles (Janelle) Berger and the late Ruth (Don) Strathern.
James proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He enjoyed music, reading the newspaper, reading about the civil war and collecting coins and plates. Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in James' name to Alzheimer's Association or American Kidney Foundation.
Private Family Services will be held.
