Martin Joseph Tylka, 63, passed away peacefully September 21st 2017. He was a devoted husband of 36 years to Mary Ann Tylka (nee Topping), loving father and father-in-law to Jonathan (Heather) Tylka. Martin was born on January 23, 1954 in Saint Louis Missouri to the late Thelma (nee Suggs) Tylka and late Roman Tylka Sr. He was a loving brother and brother-in-law to Cynthia (Ron) Davies, Roman Jr. (Paula) Tylka, Lawrence (Deborah) Tylka, Mary (Mark) Bonkoski and the late Claudia Pieper. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many. Being with his family was one of his greatest joys in life. He will always be remembered for his ability to make people laugh, entertain, and his unwavering optimism and determination in the face of adversity.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 30th at Sts. Clare and Francis of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC), located at 204 E Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119 (Note: The church building is shared with Peace United Church of Christ). Visitation 9 am-11 am in the fire side room at the church. Services to follow at 11 am. Immediately after the funeral services, interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum located at 10180 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO 63123.
Memorials may be made to the Family Center in Webster Groves, Saint Elizabeth Adult Day Care Center, or the Evans Scholars Foundation.
