Mary K was a wonderful person, a happy person with a smile that could light up a room. My parents, Ray and Elise Wadlow, loved her deeply. Dad always referred to her as his kid sister. And my mother, who passed away at a young 79 in 1995, told me that if my father had pre-deceased her she had expected that she and Mary K would have lived out their later years together. They were so close.

I loved Mary K. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. Never talked bad about people or complained. Those kind of people are rare.

Mary K was my wife Pat’s favorite aunt. They were alike in so many ways. There is great comfort in believing they are now together again in Heaven.

You were like a grandma to our kids and a wonderful friend to Tim and I when you lived next to us in North Carolina. Your kindness and laughter will always be remembered. The memories we have of you are very special and although you have left these earthly bounds you will always live on in our hearts. Peace to you Mary K.

Grandma, the times that we shared will be cherished forever. You were always so kind to everyone, and your smile would always bring one to my face. You may have left us, but your spirit will live on, in the lives that you have touched. May you be at peace now, and be with the ones you love. I will miss you, dearly.

Mary K., (always thought it was “Kay”) was the sweetest lady I know of! So willing to help others.
She did SO much for my mom! She was my mom’s bestie, for sure!
Regret not seeing her more. She liked to play games…that’s what we did together…she always won!!

Maureen, I’m deeply sorry for your loss. I absolutely adored your mom. I could sit and talk with her for hours. How lucky are you to have had her as your mom. You however, were a fabulous daughter to her. I have missed and thought often about you and your mom since the last time I was at your home. I wish you the best life, greatest happiness, strongest health and all the love your heart can handle.
    May God Bless You Always,
    Toni Antoinette DePriest
