Anthony B. Bockerstette

March 3, 1973 — June 3, 2023

Anthony Buan Bockerstette, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital – Lake St. Louis. He was only 50 years young. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Tony was born on March 3, 1973.

Tony is survived by his father Anthony C. Bockerstette.  Forever remembered by his siblings – Sister - Michelle Bockerstette-Hoff with daughter, Madison Hoff – Sister, Tina Bockerstette (Chris Beardon) with children Alexis, Elizabeth (Delilah, great niece), Dustin, Anthony, and Eli – Brother, Joseph Bockerstette with children Maxwell and Eisley.   And most importantly – Tony’s beautiful and beloved children – Daughter, Baylee Irgang (Andrew Cantwell) with granddaughter, Yuuki - Son - Robert Irgang – Son, Noah Irgang and Daughter – Emma Bockerstette.

Tony was predeceased by his mother, Aurora B. Bockerstette, whom we lost in October 2020.

Tony was born in Pampanga, Philippines. He grew up in St. Peters, MO and he later resided in Pennsylvania before relocating back to O’Fallon, MO this past December.

Tony was a fun spirited soul who never knew a stranger. He was in the business of people as a national recruiter and found great joy in helping others.  Always willing to lend a hand, a listening ear or word of advice. And oh, he was a goofball – enjoyed a good laugh.  He was definitely witty and fun.

If you knew Tony, FAMILY was his everything – his main priority.  He took great pride in that. His ultimate goal was to have a big loving family and he had it. Tony’s kids are what drove him in this life. Along with being super dad to Baylee, Rob, Noah, and Emma – Tony, was the best grandpa to his granddaughter Yuuki. Tony always radiated love and kindness for his granddaughter and strived to be never less than great. They will carry Tony’s heart, love, and laughter with them always.

In lieu of any ceremony because Tony would not want anyone to cry for him – we ask that one and all go on living good, giving lives. We ask that you consider organ and/or tissue donation as Tony did with his last act of giving to this world. Live well, love strongly and be kind.
