Austin Willfred

On June 20, 2023 Austin (AJ) James Willfred, 23, passed away suddenly in his hometown of Bridgeton, Mo. He was born in St. Louis, MO on November 4, 1999 to Tracy and Jim Willfred.

 

AJ was spontaneous, wild, outgoing, caring, loving and funny. AJ never met a stranger. He made friendships wherever he went. His thoughtfulness guided him to lend a helping hand to many. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his great big warm smile, and his kind heart. AJ enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing sports, and exploring the outdoors. He was a wonderful brother and uncle, an amazing son, and a loyal friend.

 

AJ is survived by and lives on through his parents, Tracy and Jim; his siblings, Samantha Gregory, Lucas (Chelsea) Willfred, and Cheyenne Willfred; nieces and nephews, Khloe, Lilly, CJ, and Cash as well as tons of family and friends who love him and will miss him greatly.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Gross and Patricia Montgomery; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Jim Willfred; paternal uncle, Ricky Willfred; paternal aunt, Anna Marie Perdue; his paternal baby sister, Lexi Willfred and his cousin, Jacob Clinch.

 

Austin James, our son, leaves our lives here on earth too soon but his love and light will always remain here to remind us of the beautiful angel we know he is.
