Barry Wayne Roehrs

Barry was born in St. Louis, MO on June 15, 1957. He graduated from Lindbergh High School in 1975 and continued his education at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He had a trademark sense of humor that was one of a kind. He was a very hard worker, understanding and patient. He was full of life and his positive energy was always felt when you were around him. He loved everyone with everything he had, especially his family. He was proud to be called Bear Paw by his Granddaughter and loved watching her grow. He loved sharing his passions: bowling, jazz, The Beatles and a great plate of sushi.

Barry is survived by his two children, Angie Asberry and Bryan Roehrs; his beloved granddaughter, Ava; dear sisters Gail Easton and Carla Holman; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Norma Roehrs, and sister Terry Marsh.

A private viewing will be held for close family on Friday, May 22. We will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date when it is safe for people to be together to celebrate and share stories of the amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that he was to many.
