Bernard Marcus Fruchter, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the age of 71.
Bernard Fruchter was a security officer at multiple Missouri businesses for over 20 years. He worked as a hard count supervisor at Stations Casino in the 90s. He transitioned to security and spent almost 20 years at Ameristar Casinos. He then moved to Sentry and Hudson Security. He retired when he could no longer work due to complications from terminal lung cancer. Bernard attended and graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and attended New York University. He spoke 7 languages and traveled to over 20 countries.
Bernard is survived by his son, Eddie, who graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and worked on the National Immunization Survey; and his wife, Madonna, who was a union laborer in the Saint Louis printing and binding industry. Bernard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bernard is preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Regina Fruchter.
