Beverly K. Cason

Beverly (Bev) Kay Cason, 76, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on February 19, 2024. Beverly was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 17, 1947, although her family eventually moved to Rolla, Missouri. She earned a diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Maryville University. Before her retirement, Beverly worked for many years as a Registered Nurse and educator for Normandy Osteopathic Hospital, Mercy Hospital St. Louis, and Mercy Hospital South (then St. Anthony’s Hospital).

Beverly was married to Robert (Bob) Cason on January 23, 1993, and the two have been an amazing team ever since; they were married for more than 31 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and a succession of “favorite” dogs, including Crasher, Murphy, and Pickles.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Bob Cason, her sister, Carol Ditto (Jeff), her son, Michael Meehan (Lori), daughter, Kimberly Forney (Russ), stepsons Christopher Cason and Ben Cason (Clare), and grandchildren Adam Forney, Austin Forney, Alicia (Ali) Meehan, Michael J. Meehan, Zoey Cason, Mia Cason, Rylen Cason, and Carter Cason. Beverly is also survived by her former spouse, Michael (Denny) Meehan.

Beverly was preceded in death by parents, George and Delores Lang.

A funeral service will be held on Friday March 1, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church, 907 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Immediately prior to the service, a visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cremation Society of St. Louis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area. The family would like to thank Dr. Jill Oberle of the St. Luke’s Hospital Palliative Care Team, as well as St. Luke’s Hospice Services.
