Carol J. Goggin

Carol Jane Goggin was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 22, 1950 to parents Orville R. and Sophia Goggin (nee Dawson). On March 27, 2023, she entered her final rest at the age of 72 after an extended illness.

Carol is remembered by all who knew her as Miss Sunshine, the life of the party, and a lover of animals. Her life was full of loving people and she had many friends. Most important to her were the many caregivers and staff at TRI who so faithfully cared for her over the years (most recently Matt, Rico, Chris, John, Courtney and Erin).

Carol's sincere of love of God sustained her throughout her life. She faced each of the many challenges in her life with courage and determination. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and caregivers.

Carol is survived by her sister Barbara Buchheit and her nieces Robin Borgstede and Dawn Angelly-Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roger W. Goggin.

A memorial celebration of Carol's life will be held Saturday, April 1 in the Chapel at Calvary Church (3998 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peter's). The service will begin at 12:30 pm. Following the service, a light lunch will be provided by the church.
