Christine Cardinale

Christine "Aunt Nina" Cardinale, born on June 16, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Agostino and Marie Cardinale, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025.  

Christine was a devoted sister to Sam (Verna), Frank (Dorothy), Marie (Dominick Theodosis), Nicolas (Rita), Joseph (Johnnie), Lawrence (Sandra). She was the beloved aunt of 21 nieces and nephews, 41 great-nieces and nephews, and 22 great-great-nieces and nephews. A cousin to many and a friend to all, Christine's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

She enjoyed a fulfilling career as the secretary to the Vice President of Laclede Gas Company, where her dedication and professionalism were greatly admired. Beyond her professional life, Christine found joy in music and dance, passions that brought light into her life and the lives of those around her. She also loved teaching card games to her many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association in memory of Christine.

Christine's legacy is one of love, generosity, and connection. Her memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
