Dale Louis Hines

Dale Louis Hines of St. Peters MO, was born on August 24, 1930, in Shannon County near Summerville, MO. He died on May 30, 2016, in O'Fallon, MO, at the age of 85.

He was preceded in death by his father Oscar D. Hines and his mother Dora D. Hines; two brothers, Amos D. Hines and Vern A. Hines. He is survived by his wife Edythe, three sisters; Thelma Foard of St. Charles, MO, Lola Cooley of Mountain View, MO, Eileen Perck of Oklahoma, OK, and his two step sons; James L. Stoops and Michael C. Stoops.

Dale graduated from Summerville High School in 1948. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1951 and served for three years. He was discharged in 1954. After his discharge from the Army, he spent a short time in school and worked several temporary jobs. In August of 1956, he married Edythe J. Stoops; nee Burton. In April of 1957, he was employed by McDonnell Aircraft Company where he remained for over 30 years. He retired from McDonnell Douglas Corp in July of 1987. Since that time he has lived with his wife Edythe in St. Charles, MO, where they had moved in 1983.
