Daniel Steffen

Steffen, Daniel Lee, 66, of St. Charles, MO, died on February 13th, 2024.

Dan was born in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Hazelwood East High School before being selected for technical training in the U.S. Air Force civil engineering mechanical and electrical field at Sheppard AFB in Texas.

Dan worked as an airplane machinist with Boeing for many years where he got to indulge in his love for aircraft and then later worked as a fabricator.

Dan is survived by his two sons, Cody Steffen, and Shane Steffen; his grandson Maverick Steffen; his step-father Jim Anderson; his brothers, David Steffen and Tim Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his parents Norma Anderson & Donald Steffen; his grandparents Matthew “Motzs” & Lena “Lil” Guerra; and his best friend “Uncle Kev”.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm at VFW Post 2866 at 66 V F W Lane, St. Charles, MO 63303 on Saturday, March 2, 2024. A Fish Fry in honor of Dan will be held at 4:00pm with a chicken option for those that do not want seafood.
