Darrel V. Colville passed away on June 19, 2023, at a local care facility. He was born to Robert and Clara Lucille Colville on August 27, 1937, in King City, Missouri.

After graduating from high school, he joined the Army and served our country. On returning, he took various insurance classes and started work at the Silvey Company. He married Joyce Westbrook on October 22, 1967. They had one son, Darin, on December 3, 1970.

They moved to the St. Louis area where he worked his way up to an underwriter for State Farm Insurance.

He enjoyed various hobbies including golf, photography, and painting. He and his niece published 2 books of photos of old barns and old houses, He also enjoyed old trains- making it to exhibitions of the ones that came to St. Louis occasionally.
