Diane Provenzano

Provenzano Frances "Diane" (nee: Wirsing), 77 of St Charles, MO passed away on Thursday November 7th, 2019 at Mount Carmel Senior Living. Diane was born on March 19th, 1942 in Batavia, NY and graduated from Leroy High School class of 1960. She later received a diploma at Western Union School and worked as an Operator.
Diane worked for many years at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. She adored her job and formed many lifetime friendships during her employment.
Diane later retired to St Charles, MO where she spent her free time volunteering as a Foster Grandparent at Crisis Nursery and spending time with her family. She loved going to the casino, playing bingo and going out to eat. In her younger years she was an avid bowler, loved to dance and was a good friend to many. Diane had a wonderful sarcastic humor and quick wit. She had a big personality and most recently loved to sport her dyed pink hair. She knew how to have fun and loved teasing and joking with the ones she loved.
Diane is survived by her 2 daughters Kelly(Jeff) Bothe St Charles, MO and Cory(James) Richard Stafford, CT. Her grandchildren Ashley (Jason) Hanscom, Jacob Bothe. Great-grandchildren, Michael, Elias and Liam. Her sister Peggy(Bill) Scheg and Bud (Lucy) Wirsing from Leroy NY. Nieces and nephews Leslie, Marcy, Holly, Jamie, Jimmy, Andy, Jonathon, Tommy, Erick, Tina and Ricky.
She is preceded in death by her parents Phillip and Frances Wirsing and son Michael Anthony Tiberio.

Diane's wishes were to be cremated and have her final resting place be with her beloved son Michael at St Joseph's Cemetery in Batavia NY.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2020 in upstate New York with her many friends and family.

In Lieu of memorial flowers, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Senior Living in St Charles MO.
