Donna J. Owens

Donna J. (Bartlett) Owens was born in Brentwood, MO on October 26th,1939 and passed away on June 7th, 2017 in Troy, MO. Donna was the wife and partner of the late Donald E. Owens, cherished mother to Lance (Kimi Nagatoshi), Rick (Tammy) and Brian (Stacy); grandmother to Ashley (Warnecke), Chaise and Dean Owens; step-grandmother to Felicia Rhoades, Andrew and Derrick Wilde. Her last months were spent in the loving care of close family including her brothers, Bill and Gary Bartlett.

Donna enjoyed her younger years in the St. Louis area before moving to Las Vegas in 1965, where she resided for 48 years. She began a successful career in the 70’s as a Controller in the automobile industry, where she had the honor of mentoring several young women as administrators in the industry.

After the death of her husband, she wintered in Kona, HI and Charleston, SC, while spending her summers in Troy, MO with her extensive family and lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations and cards, Donna requests that you give a sincere and enthusiastic hug to someone special. Pass the love along.
