Earlene Claxton

Claxton, Earlene (nee Pinkard) of Lake St. Louis, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016 at the age of 76. Devoted wife of 58 years of Robert Claxton; loving mother of Allen Claxton and his wife Sandra, David Claxton and his wife Janet and Catharine Toppins and her husband Michael; cherished grandmother of Michael Claxton, Christopher Toppins, Steven Claxton, George Claxton, Kristyn Toppins and Jeffrey Claxton; great-grandmother of Ian Claxton; dearest sister of Doris Thompson, Clara Petigo, Buner Weeks, Joyce Carey, Juanita Woods, Marie Garrison, Laura Pinkard, and Nathan Pinkard. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents William Luther and Jesse (nee Bell) Pinkard, two brothers Rex Pinkard and Eugene Pinkard and 3 sisters Donnie Pinkard, Lear Feltman and Margaret Pinkard.

A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, November 6th with family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, http://www.pva.org/.

Earlene will be forever remembered for how much she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild and her love of being outdoors working in her yard and garden.
