Easton H Wade, JR was born December 18, 1935 in Calhoun County, Illinois to Easton, Sr. & Opal Marie. Junior entered the Army after completing basic training at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas. Wade was a member of Battery B of the division’s 69th Field Artillery Battalion. He was then stationed at Schofield Barracks on Oahu where he met Lorraine. They married In 1956 on the island of Oahu. Easton, Jr and his beautiful young bride returned to Saint Charles, Missouri to begin their new life together. Junior was very proud of his large family which includes seven children, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Junior retired from Moog Automotive as a Quality Inspector. After retiring, he could be found working outside on the yard or tinkering in the barn with the horses. He also enjoyed morning coffee and going to estate sales with his cousins. He had stories from following his love of cowboys & westerns, old hot rod vehicles, listening to classic country music on his jukebox, watching his favorite antiquing shows, and growing his own “treasure” collection.
He is survived by his seven children: Timothy (Cathy), Easton III (Lisa), Pamela, Debra, Randy, Rocky, and Tara. Eleven grandchildren: Derek (Jenne), Corey, Amanda (Rob), Samantha, Dara (John), Travis, Cami, Austin, Tori, Taylor, and Trevor. Fifteen great grandchildren, his sister Darlene, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Junior is preceded in death by his parents (Easton, Sr & Opal), his wife (Lorraine) and one great grandson (Alaric Goettel).
A private graveside service will be held with the immediate family.
