Erik D. Dillender, 42, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home. Born May 21, 1974 in Alton, IL, the son of Charles and Janice Dillender.
Erik was a loving husband and father, who was funny, outgoing, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He touched many people's lives and was loved by many. He worked as a Concrete Finisher for 27 years, and was a member of Cement Mason Local #527.
He married Jennifer Eaton on May 15th, 1999 in St. Peters, MO.
Surviving are wife Jennifer Dillender, daughter; Erika, sons; Devin, Kyle, and Mason. Father-In-Law Mark Eaton, Mother-In-Law Christine Eaton, Brother-In-Law Brian Eaton, Sister's-In-Law Sarah and Melissa Eaton, Grandmother Maxine Owens, Brother Richard Morton, Uncle Michael Delehanty, Aunt and Uncle Jean and Raymond Watsek, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and Grandfather Darman Verdell Owens.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8945 Veterans Memorial Parkway, O'Fallon, MO.
A Life Celebration will be following the Service at Rookies, 15358 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Wentzville, MO.
