Erin A. Fitzgibbons

Erin Ann Fitzgibbons passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 50. Erin was born February 21, 1971 to Francis and Denise Fitzgibbons in St. Charles, Missouri, and grew up on the family farm in Warrenton, Missouri.

Erin graduated from Warrenton High School in Warrenton, Missouri where she was a proud member of the Warrior Marching Band.

Erin loved music, laughter, cheesy Hallmark movies and crime shows.  She was always willing to “try anything once” and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved nieces and nephews.  She was a proud lesbian and a lifelong supporter of equal rights for all.  She left an impact that will be felt and remembered for generations.  When she loved, she loved hard.

Erin is survived by her 2 sisters and 1 brother, Shelly (Gary) Witthaus, Matt (Jennifer) Fitzgibbons, Carrie Fitzgibbons (Bryan Kelly); nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many more relatives and friends.

Erin was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Michael Fitzgibbons; and sisters, Stacey Cantrell, Glenda Fitzgibbons, and Shawna Knight.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, February 20, 2022, 1-5pm at Diekroeger Park in Wright City, Missouri within The Wil Hieliger Activity Building.
