Florence “Flo” Margaret Anderson

Florence “Flo” Margaret Anderson, 90, from Washington, MO, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the age of 90. Loving wife to the late Norman Anderson and beloved daughter of the late Edward and Marie Phelan, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Flo was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Marie Goode, Edward Phelan, Robert Phelan, James Phelan, William Phelan, Leona Hardage, and Richard Phelan.

Flo was born on June 16, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri.  She married Norman Anderson on April 20, 1968 sharing 47 wonderful years together until his death in 2015. Flo was always curious and inquisitive, wanting to learn and read about a variety of topics. She was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching the games and her favorite players. Flo was a kind and gentle person who loved her family dearly. She had an outstanding memory and there wasn’t a family birthday or anniversary that she didn’t know. Flo was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A private grave site service will be held in Dixon, MO.
