Hollis E. Coons Jr.

Hollis E. Coons, Jr. passed away in St. Charles, Missouri on March 27, 2015, after several years of poor health. He was born May 10, 1945 to Hollis and Catherine Gilbert Coons in St. Louis Missouri.
Survived by his brother, Larry Coons (Judith), sister Peggy Coons McDonnell (Tim McDonnell), 18 nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews whom he would name individually if he were here.
Hollis was devoted to his family, and loved spending time with family and friends. He lived a simple life, and over the years enjoyed his pets, collection of books on sports and various celebrities, and watching old classic movies. He had a kind word, big wave and smile for everyone he met.
A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in Hollis' memory to an animal shelter of your choice, Crider Health Center, or American Heart Association.
