Iliki Kanakoa (Lynn Marie Dettling / Lynn Holderle)

Iliki Kanakoa (Lynn Marie Dettling / Lynn Holderle) died on the 9th of January at the age of 71 in St. Louis, Missouri. She lost a four year battle to ovarian cancer.

Iliki is survived by her mother, Verna Stevens; stepfather, Edward Stevens; brother, Mark Dettling; ex-husband, Gene Holderle, and many other close family members and life-long friends. She also leaves behind her pride and joy, her dog, Jennifer Lopez.

Iliki was born Lynn Dettling on January 16, 1945 to Verna and Joseph Dettling. She was a spirited, adventurous child who continued her zest for life throughout her adulthood. She overcame many obstacles in her life, enjoyed the 60s, and graduated from University of Kansas with a Masters in Clinical Social Work. She had a passion for the outdoors, animals and for those who are less fortunate, and she shared her love for others through her private practice.
