Jaime Ricardo Tovar

On March 23, 2016, a great man, Jaime (Jim) Ricardo Tovar a.k.a. 'Ace' joined his mother, Katherine Hill, and brother, Juan David Tovar in heavenly death. He leaves behind his father and his father's wife, Jaime Louise and Kelli Stevens Tovar, his wife Mary Ann Richardson Tovar, his daughter Octavia Steele Tovar, his sisters-in-law Mary Bell Tovar, Carrie Schermuly, Tiffany deBruyn, and Julie Fields, his brothers-in-law Thor Fields, Andy Schermuly, and Ramon deBruyn, his nieces Anna Tovar, Grace Tovar, Maggie Tovar, Layla Fields, and Jordon deBruyn, his nephews Joseph Tovar, and Jude Fields.

A long time member of St. Louis Local 1 electricians union and member of rock band Marz88 with his wife Mary, Barb Culbertson, and Gene Fantasia. He also drew great strength from his parish Our Lady of the Pillar and his Native American Inipi community. Loved by many, understood by fewer, hated by none, his zest for life and his personality will be greatly missed.

A celebration of his life will be held at Our Lady of the Pillar Church, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63131 on April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am.
