James "Jim" L. Luehrs

Jim Luehrs, age 68, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on August 3, 2023.

Jim was born on November 23, 1954 in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Berkeley High School.  Jim married the love of his life, Linda, on October 9, 1976 and they were happily married for 47 years.

Jim had many occupations over the years, including serving as a police officer for 10 years, an over the road truck driver, and a government contracted security officer.

Jim loved the outdoors whether that be camping and boating at the lake, cruising on his motorcycle with Linda and friends, or traveling the country and taking in the beauty of our National Parks. Some of Jim’s other hobbies over the years included paranormal investigating and photography. Jim was a fun-loving Grandpa, an avid animal lover, and always loved to joke and have a good time with family and friends.  He was the true definition of a good person and had a heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Jim leaves behind his loving wife Linda, dear daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Shannon Kennedy, precious granddaughter Madison, and his loyal dog, Shadow. Jim was also a beloved son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
