James David Skiff

James David Skiff Sr, 61, of Montgomery City Mo, passed away on November 15^th, 2022

James was born in Taylorville, IL and graduated from UAE of Urbana, IL.

James was married to his sweetheart Mary Ann Skiff (nee: Kellum) on April 2, 2022.

James spent most all his life from the age of 16 driving a truck. He was proud of his million-mile accident-free awards. James enjoyed doing many things. He loved being a grandpa and spoiling his grandkids when he got the chance. He enjoyed road trips and spending time with his family. When the weather was nice you could always find him on his motorcycle enjoying his wind therapy. James was also a veteran of the US Army Veteran. He will forever be loved and missed by all the ones who loved him.

James is survived by his wife Mary Ann Skiff (Kellum), and his three children, His daughter Angela Marie of Montgomery City, and two sons James Skiff (Amy), and Samuel Skiff (Juanita) of Montgomery City; his grandchildren Nathaniel, Summer, Autumn, Abigale, Owen, Tommy, Xavion, Jadelynn, Leland, Landon, Ivy, Dakota, Korren. Triston, Cheyenne, and Zoey; two sisters Beckee (Greg), and Kathy (Ray) of Illinois; three nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Dorothy Skiff, brother Jerry R. Skiff Jr, along with his grandparents

Memorial services have not yet been arranged at this time but will come soon.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Michael Trendle MD and the entire MU Health Care staff at the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center of Columbia, MO for all the care provided to James from April 21, 2021, Until his final days. It is the care that they gave him that allowed them more time with him. They would also like to thank the Community Loving Care Hospice team of Wentzville, Mo for all the care and support in his final days. And finally, they would like to thank the Cremation Society of Missouri in St. Charles, Mo for handling James’s cremation services.
