Jane E. Lockett

Jane Ellen Lockett, nature lover, St. Louis Cardinals super-fan, and beloved friend to many, passed away early morning on July 22, 2023, following a battle with lung cancer.  Jane was born on March 8, 1956, in Columbus, Indiana, to George W. and Lorajean Lockett.  A graduate of Purdue University and Indiana University-Indianapolis, Jane was a dedicated physical therapist who loved her job and her patients.  She loved dogs, and she cared for many over the years.  She will be sorely missed by her current four legged children, Dudley and Ryley.  

 

Survivors include the love of her life, Pam Gilbert, as well as siblings Richard Lockett, Philip Lockett and Susan Lockett Gitterman, and many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.  No memorial service is planned, although a celebration of her life will be held at a later date
