Janet Kathleen Chapman

Janet Kathleen Chapman, (61), passed away after a long struggle with Alzheimer's on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at her home in Lake St Louis, MO.
She was born March 12, 1954 in Flint Michigan. Daughter of the late Huey Chapman and Ouida (Kilburn) Chapman brother to the late Robley (Charlotte Duffin) Chapman, James (Mary 'Ginny') Chapman & Terry Chapman. She is survived by her brothers Ken Chapman of St Louis, MO, Dan Price of Tuscan, AZ, and sister Brenda Chapman (Louis) Triola of St Louis, MO. A beloved daughter, sister, sister in-law, aunt, niece, and friend. 'Kathleen' was born with Down Syndrome and was a member of Emmaus Homes. She was known for her infectious smile, her laughter, and playful antics. She enjoyed the Three Stooges and often would mimic them. If you asked her who was your favorite she would tell you Curly. Not only did she touch our lives, but she also touched the lives of her caretakers. May we always remember her happy and easy going attitude.
A Memorial will be held at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 3115 Elm Street, St Charles, MO 63301 on Sunday April 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
