McIlvoy, Jeffrey Alan, 64, of Creve Coeur, MO died on May 3, 2023.
Jeff was born in Granite City, IL, and moved to Canoga Park, CA as a child. When he was seven years old, his family moved back to St. Louis where his father, ‘Mac’, opened a series of service stations. Jeff worked alongside his father at the family business until the business was sold. Jeff retired in 2021 from Sunbelt Rentals.
Growing up, Jeff loved racing motorcycles, fishing and testing out new cars. Over the course of his life, Jeff probably owned a mix of ~100 different vehicles, boats and/or motorcycles, sometimes getting a new one every couple months. His favorite was always, of course, the next one!
While Jeff had lots of interests, his pride and joy were his two boys, Bryan and Kevin. He shared with them his passion of fishing, Nascar, gambling, airshows, firework displays and movies including his secret love of chick-flicks.
He was also a beloved uncle, often the first call for car advice, rides home from college or help moving. He was known to excel at Pretty Pretty Princess, adventures to the movie theater, and having a gallon of chocolate ice cream in his freezer at all times.
Jeff is survived by his two children, Bryan McIlvoy and Kevin McIlvoy; and dear siblings Sharon Hite, Rick (Leslie) McIlvoy, and LeaAnn (Donn) Herring along with six nieces and two nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Winston and Delores McIlvoy.
A celebration of life will be an open house on Saturday, May 20th at 3:00 pm. Please join us to share your memories at 5767 Hoffman Ford Ct. Weldon Spring, MO 63304.
