John C. Kliethermes

John C. Kliethermes, 49 of Gerald MO, went to join the lord on Saturday, March 26, 2016. John was the seventh of nine children born to Henrietta and the late Herbert Kliethermes on January 17, 1967. John was a devoted outdoors man who found enjoyment in fishing and the lower Cabin in Potosi to be home. As a young boy, John enjoyed The 80 (the family farm), picking black berries and searching for the ding dong tree.

John is the loving father of twins, Jessie and Mike Kliethermes from Collinsville, IL. Their creek stomping days and Fall bonfire nights will be deeply missed as a family tradition.

John is survived by eight siblings, Laura (the late Tommy) McDonald, David (Shelia) Kliethermes, Linda (Bill) Hance, Nancy Dorenkamp, Jim (Amy) Kliethermes, Theresa (Mark) Kniepmann, Mark (Cindy) Kliethermes and Joe (Sherry) Kliethermes. As well as a whole clan of 43 nieces and nephews. Besides his enormously large family, John is survived by his best friends Steve and Chris Hipes.

John's celebration of life will be held on Friday April 1, at New Beginnings Lutheran Church, 791 New Beginning Road, Pacific Missouri. We will be gathering between 5:00 and 8:00 P.M. with a prayer at 7:00.
