John Randall Harrison

Harrison, John Randall, 75 of Troy, Missouri died on October 11, 2023.

John was born in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from Robinson High School in Robinson, Illinois. He completed a B.S. degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and became a professional registered civil engineer in the state of Missouri.

John was married to Sharon Lea Harrison (nee: Frost) on June 8, 1971. They were married for 52 years.

John worked for American Water Company in Ohio and his last position was in St Louis, Missouri. He worked in the water/wastewater treatment industry for 46 years before retiring to enjoy spending time as an amateur videographer/web developer. He loved being active in the Homeowner’s association as the website administrator. John’s faith in the LORD played a significant role in his life. In the last days of John’s life, he spoke often about the LORD giving Him all the glory and honor.  Romans 11:33-36

John is survived by his wife Sharon and his two children Jane Harrison, and Joel (Alexis) Harrison; his sister Susie (Bill) Welsh and nephew Braden Welsh; his grandchildren, Yusra, and Remy Harrison.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Onnie Bowles Walters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Samaritan's Purse. The family of John Harrison wishes to thank neighbors, family, and friends for their love and care.
