Joseph L. Draper

Joseph L. Draper, 55, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday October 12th, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.

Joe was born in St. Louis, MO on October 22nd, 1965 to Joseph and Shelby Draper. He graduated High School in 1984 from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, MO. Where he continued to work as a Mechanic, eventually gaining his cert as a Master Mechanic until 1997. He then drove with his wife as a Bus Driver for Francis Howell School District until 2019. In 2020 Joe and Kim took their love of travel and started Team Driving for Try Hours through Davnic.

Joe lived a full and warm life, with his Wife Kim Draper. They wed on September 24th, 1988 in St. Charles, MO. They raised three boys and enjoyed 33 years of marriage together. Filled with Joy and Happiness. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family, while working on anything with a motor, making moonshine, riding his motorcycle with his wife and attending Rally’s with his friends. Traveling, Hunting, fishing and being outdoors with his family. Coaching football for many years with his boys and playing Santa for many Friends and Family. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

He is survived by his Wife Kim Draper (Golleher), his siblings Donna Parr, Elizabeth “Libby” (David) Landsbury, Debra Draper and April (Jason) Rainey; His Children Joseph (Mabrie) Draper III, Travis Draper (Bree Meadows) and Devin Draper; His 4 Grandchildren, Chloe, Charlie, Joseph IV and Freddie Draper; and many Nieces & Nephews who he was extremely close with; Including many non-blood related relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Draper and Shelby Keller; His siblings Jack Harless and Sharon Martin.

A Memorial Service will be held at Baue Funeral Home O’Fallon on Friday October 22nd, 2021. A visitation will be from 1 pm – 4pm and a Memorial Service at 4 pm.
