Chitwood, Joseph Richard, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 67.
Survived by his children, Jessica Rae (Daniel) Myers and Joseph Andrew (Bailey) Chitwood; grandchildren, Mason Myers, Max Chitwood, Elliot Myers and Nora Chitwood; and sister, Donna Sue Jones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Charity B. Chitwood; his daughter, Jammie Ann Moore; and grandparents, Artist and Hazel Chitwood.
Joe loved his children, grandchildren, and his whole family; he often reminisced about his childhood and growing up in Tennessee.
He took pride in his work as an engineer. He enjoyed learning about science and technology and had a passion for computer and network systems. He loved to tinker with electronics and cars and figure out how things worked.
Joseph was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
