Judson “Jud” Robert Eberhardt

Judson 'Jud' Robert Eberhardt, of St. Charles County passed from this life on June 11, 2015 at the age of 68. He was born December 19, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to Elwyn 'Windy' Eberhardt and Margaret Eberhardt (nee Jordan). Jud is survived by his wife of 5 years, Barb Eberhardt; children, Marie Eberhardt Isbel and Judd Eberhardt; four grandchildren, Kristin, Joseph, John Isbel and Connor Eberhardt; sister, Jessica Eberhardt Rathke; and former wife, Jackie. He is also survived by his step-children, Bob Mauer and Jennifer (Matt) Parisi (nee Mauer) and her children Jason and MJ. He leaves behind many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jud graduated from Lindbergh High School, where he was active in several sports including wrestling and football. After high school he followed his great interest in criminal justice by becoming a police officer with Marlborough, Missouri Police Department. His career as a police officer continued for many years at various other St. Louis and Jefferson County area police departments. He was also an instructor at ITT Technical Institute. He later joined the Security Department at Anheuser-Busch, where he worked for over 20 years. During this time he earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Criminal Justice from St. Louis University.
Jud's athleticism continued into his adult life. He participated in several marathons and triathlons in the St. Louis area and beyond. He loved exploring on his Indian motorcycle and also participated in the Trail of Tears ride, along with thousands of others. He will be especially remembered for his kind, gentle nature and his dry sense of humor.
Jud was a member of Foristell Christian Church, Foristell, MO where he served as a Deacon and Church Treasurer.
A Celebration of Jud's life will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Foristell Christian Church, 22865 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Foristell, MO 63348 (Former address of the church was 1051 S. Service Road-W).
