On Monday March 8th 2021, Karen L Reichardt (Blackwell) a loving wife entered into her Heavenly Fathers Arms at the age of 63.
Karen was born April 25, 1957 in Alexandria Virginia to Sarah L Blackwell (Conklin) and William Blackwell. She married Stephen R. Reichardt on December 27, 1984 at Salem in Ballwin UMC. They shared 36 years of love and marriage.
Karen was known for her quick wit, and her love for everyone she met, most importantly her love of Christ. Karen was a compassionate woman who always had a hug to share and time to listen to the burden you carried and lighten it through God inspired wisdom.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother Sarah L Blackwell (Conklin) and father William R Blackwell, as well as Fathers-in-law James W Whitehead and Richard R Reichardt, brother-in-law John Whitehead, sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth West (Whitehead).
She is survived by her husband Stephen, mother-in-law Barbara Whitehead, sister Carol Blackwell, brother Larry Blackwell, sisters-in-law Penny (Ron) Morris, Kathy (Dan) Curran, Pat (Ray) Mosley, Carole (Dale) Town, Nancy Whitehead, Brothers-in-law Scott (Margie) Whitehead, Charles (Mary) Whitehead. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Karen is also survived by her surrogate children Lou Ann (David) Walker, T. Andrew (Tracy) Fry, and Allyson (Andrew) Fry-Petit.
A memorial service will be held at Sunrise UMC 7116 Twin Chimneys Blvd O’Fallon MO 63368 On March 20, 2021 Visitation begins at 1PM for family Memorial service begins at 2PM.
