Larry D. Allen

Allen, Larry D ,76 of Dexter, Mo died on January 19, 2020 in St. Charles, MO.

Larry was born in Essex, Mo and graduated from Dexter High School. He married Sally Simms of Farmington on August 21, 1970. Larry worked in sales for R H Donnelley for 20 years before moving into publishing real estate magazines in Las Vegas until his retirement in 2010. He and Sally shared a love for golf and travel. In 2013 they found a new love traveling in their motorhome. Larry loved family & friends and meeting new people.

Larry is survived by two children Trish (Randy) Earnheart and Lyle (Mindy) Allen; grandchildren, Matt (Crystal) Earnheart, Alana Earnheart, Cole Allen, and Sarah Allen; two great grandchildren, Eli and Wyatt Earnheart; brother-in-laws, Ron (Eva) Simms and  Harold (Connie) Simms; sister-in law, Elizabeth Winters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Jonathan Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierce and Ilah Allen; and his siblings, Dean, Delmar, John, Billie Jean and Margaret Cox.

No memorial service will be held at this time.  A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
