Linda Marie Dattilo of Florissant died on February 7, 2022. Linda lived life to its fullest – she was always traveling, going to parties, teaching classes, and enjoying life. That’s why it was so sad that frontal temporal dementia took over her brain so soon after she retired. What a cruel disease it was, robbing her of the ability to speak and socialize that she loved so much. Linda worked for over 30 years as a court reporter. She was active with the Missouri Court Reporters Association, and the Missouri Chapter of the National Organization of Women. She was an animal lover. And she loved her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her sister Theresa, her brother and sister-in-law Jim and Angie, her niece Lanie (Jesse), and many cousins. Her parents, Joyce and Gus Dattilo, as well as her brother Richard, proceeded her in death. She loved her many friends, especially Ann, Pam, and Debbie, who she had known since high school. She made many friends working in the court reporter field, including Joanne, Carol, and Ellen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. For anyone wanting to make a tribute to Linda, The Clowder House, Stray Rescue, or a charity of the donor’s choice is suggested. Thanks go out to the staff at Garden Plaza of Florissant and Solace Hospice Care.
