Lorraine Antonio was born April 27, 1939 in Waialua, Hawaii to Rufo and Vicenta. She was the eldest of eight children. Lorraine met her husband near her hometown when Easton was stationed at Schofield Barracks with the Army. They married August 18, 1956 on the island of Oahu. Easton, Jr and his beautiful young bride returned to Saint Charles, Missouri to begin their new life together.
Lorraine cherished being a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and friend to many. Their first child, Timothy, was born in 1957. They then welcomed Easton III, Pamela, Debra, Randy, Rocky, and Tara (1977). Lorraine was very proud of her large family which includes eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She began her study of the bible in 1957 and symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by water baptism in 1973. As a Jehovah Witness, Lorraine found joy in serving Jehovah through the ministry. She enjoyed assisting many others come to learn an accurate knowledge of truth through bible study. She also watched many of them dedicate their lives to Jehovah. Lorraine was a spiritual mother and friend to many in the congregation.
She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, gardening, garage sales, music, good food, SWEETS, and she also loved to sing and dance. She tried to remain in touch with her Filipino and Hawaiian roots through her love of food and the hula. She will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered by all. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generosity, courage, kindness, smile, her fashion sense, and the unconditional love for her loved ones.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents (Rufo & Vicenta), two brothers (James and Edwin) and one great grandson (Alaric Goettel).
She is survived by siblings Roland (Liza), Robert (Eve), Rudel (Annie), Sara (Elton), and Jason (Josie) and her step mother, Delia. Her husband, Easton Wade, Jr, and seven children Timothy (Cathy), Easton III (Lisa), Pamela, Debra, Randy, Rocky, and Tara. Eleven grandchildren- Derek (Jenne) Goettel, Corey Wade, Amanda (Rob) Anderson, Samantha Smith, Travis Wade, Dara Goettel, Austin Smith, Camarin (Gordon) Wischmeyer, Tori Wade, Taylor Wade, and Trevor Wade. Thirteen great grandchildren, along with many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lorraine is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
We want to thank you for all of the love & support through meal deliveries, rides to her favorite places, cards, flowers, and for all of the prayers shared during this journey. Together we have suffered a great loss and so we invite you to join us in celebrating Lorraine’s life and remembering her hope for the future.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12pm to 4pm on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Baue Funeral Home O'Fallon, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, MO 63366.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1831 S River Rd, Saint Charles, MO 63303.
