Cocks, Lyn Elizabeth (nee: Wallerstedt), 68 of Florissant, MO, died December 11, 2021.
Lyn was born in St. Louis, MO, was a graduate of Laboure High School, and a resident of Florissant for 48 years.
Lyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Robert (Bob) Cocks (2019) and her parents Jean & Bill Viehman.
Lyn is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Joe) Yuede and her grandchildren; Katie and Sam.
Lyn worked as an Accounting Professional for Emerson Electric, The Daughters of Charity, and Howard Price Turf Equipment. She retired in 2005 to watch her grandchildren grow. She is the former President of the Bulldog Club of Greater St. Louis. As well she was the President of the St. Stanislaus Historical Museum. She had a love for animals especially horses and English Bulldogs. Lyn had a passion for preserving the history of the surrounding area in which she lived. She was an avid gardener with a very green thumb, an accomplished seamstress, and stained glass artisan.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2022 to carry out her and Bob’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Lyn’s name to the St. Stanislaus Historical Museum.
