2020, surrounded by loved ones.
Peggy was born in Saint Louis, MO, on September 12, 1966. She was raised in Florissant, MO, where she attended NAM Catholic Grade School and graduated from Aquinas High School. She continued on to college and received her master’s degree from Webster University.
Peggy was the youngest child in a family of nine children. She is survived by a large family, all of whom she loved dearly. She leaves behind her only child, Megan (Kyle); 3 grandchildren, Leo, Ben and Dean. She has eight surviving siblings: Mary Anne (Dan) Snyder, Lynn (Walter) Bogart, Pattie (Steve) Homeyer, Susie Phillips, Tim (Karen) Phillips, Dan Phillips, Rick Phillips and Joe Phillips, as well as many adored nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Phillips.
Peggy worked as a logistic operator for Union Pacific Railroad and Metro Transit for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, especially growing her own vegetables, books, vegetarian food, traveling, and loving on her dogs and cat. Her real joy was people. She had an open, and loving heart. When she learned of anyone who was in need of assistance, she would find some way, large or small, to provide a helping hand. One of her greatest pleasures was interacting with her family and friends. Staying true to her Phillips family heritage, nothing flowed as easily as a good, long conversation. Peggy found great joy in spending time, sharing laughter and love with those she cherished.
