Mary Beth Maxey

Mary Beth Maxey, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at the age of 59. Born and raised in Florissant, MO to the late Bill and Mary Pruett, she moved to O'Fallon with her husband and children in 1993.
She is survived by her beloved family, including her husband Bruce; children Nick and Emily; beloved grandson, Orion Peterson; brother Paul Pruett; close friend Laura Pruett; nephew Matt Pruett; niece Jessica Pruett; and cherished cousins, Mike and Mark Bullock.
Beth was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandson. She was dedicated to their happiness and success - attending sporting events, dance recitals, school programs, and being very active in their elementary school PTA. For the last five years, her grandson Orion was her world. Together they loved to explore the Saint Louis Zoo, Science Center, and dozens of local parks. She was his "Ya-Ya".
An extension of her family, Beth also loved her dogs. She missed Baxter, Gus, and (her favorite) Lucy; and lovingly cared for Riley and George until her last days.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday April 16th, 2016 at Arlington United Methodist Church in Bridgeton, MO. Visitation from 9:30-11am; service at 11am.
