Marret, Mary Angeletti, 84, of Louisville, KY died on December 19, 2022.
Mary was born in Billings, Montana on July 17, 1938 and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota where she attended Derham Hall High School. She went on to St. Louis University and attained a Masters in Education.
She was married to Joseph Edward Mees on September 1, 1962 and then to Leland Taylor Marret on March 18, 1978.
Mary was an English teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools in the 1970’s and then taught English at the University of Louisville in the 1980’s. She had a great interest in gardening and developed beautiful gardens at her houses in Louisville and Merida, Mexico where she and Leland spent most of their later years.
She is survived by her three children, Maria (Tom) Widowski, Joseph Mees, Jr., and Michael (Paola) Mees, and her two step-children, Carolyn (Mark) Mills , and Taylor (Christine) Marret as well as her grandchildren Andrew, Catherine, Eleanor, Issac and Everett and her sister Gloria.
She is preceded in death by her parents Myron John Angeletti and Agnes Klecatsky Angeletti, her brother Joseph Angeletti and her husband Leland.
