Mary Kay Young

Mary Kay Young passed away with her family by her side on May 3,2023 at the age of 64 years.

Kay was born in Mexico, Missouri on February 20,1959. She graduated from Montgomery County RII High School in Montgomery City, Missouri and continued on to receive a degree in Cosmetology from Mexico Cosmetology.

Kay was married to Michael Virgil Allen Young on September 18, 2010; they were married for 12 years.

Kay worked as owner and operator of K's Kreative Kuts, Hair Stylist at Frene Valley Nursing Home, and Harmen Becker as assembly technician. She enjoyed outdoor activities, flower beds, gardening, nature walks, and spending time with her family and friends. She was actively involved in Church.

Kay is survived by her loving husband, Michael Young; eldest son, Devin Hoener and wife Alesha, youngest son, Damon Hoener and girlfriend Miranda, and two grandsons, Jake and Garrett Hoener.

Kay is preceded in death by her father Francis Eggert, her mother Jewel Eggert, and her brother Stanley Eggert.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on June 17, 2023 at Methodist Church of Jonesburg. Preacher Judy will be officiating. Memorial Service will start at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Methodist Church of Jonesburg, Missouri.
