Norine J. Haffer

Norine Haffer, 83 years of age, passed on August 19, 2017 at Breeze Park Senior Living Community. Norine was born November 28, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to Raymond and Norine Mueller. She loved working as an Activities Director and Administrator for Skilled Nursing facilities in St. Louis. She served in many roles for the Soroptimist International of Greater St. Louis, volunteering to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Norine loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her." She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond "Sonny/Dutch" Mueller and eldest son H. Keith Haffer. Norine leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings June (Bob) Gerdes, Janet Poggemoeller, and Cliff (Marilyn) Mueller; sister-in-law Judy Mueller; her children Kirk (Jan), Kent (Janine), and Kristy (Nancy); daughter-in-law Barb; her grandchildren Matt (Ashley) Haffer, Laura (Justin) Scott, Josh (Anne) Haffer, Elise (Jeremy) Beutlich, Justin Haffer, and Jenna Haffer; her great-grandchildren, Alina and Faith Beutlich, Claire Scott, and Hazel Haffer; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service and Visitation will be held from 1pm-4pm on September 23, 2017 at North County Community Church, 7410 Howdershell, Hazelwood, MO  63042.
