Norman Donald Hohl, 85, of O’Fallon, MO. Passed away April 11, 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born May 24, 1932 in St. Louis, MO. To John George and Hazel Ruth Hohl. He has now joined his parents and sisters, Bernice Sterling and Janet Yeargain in heaven and is survived by brothers, John H. Hohl and his wife, Deloris, and Kenneth R. Hohl and his wife, Barbara, as well as nephews, nieces & cousins.
Norman was a wonderful, devoted husband to Wilma W. Hohl for 64 years; a loving father and father-in-law to son, Dennis Hohl and his wife, Jami and to daughter, Cheryl Payne and her husband, Danny Payne. He cherished his grandchildren, Brian Payne, Lindsay Payne and Darren Hohl and was a doting great-grandpa to Cole, Tayla, Evan, Avery, Madison and Aiden.
He was a graphic artist by trade and an artistic, talented craftsman in woodworking and creating miniature buildings. One of his great joys was to share his skill and talent with family and friends and he was always eager and willing to do so. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and deeply mourned by all of his family. May he Rest in Peace.
There will be a family graveside service on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
