Orencya Sitkowski

Orencya (Orie) Sitkowski (nee: Demps), 88, of St. Charles, MO, died peacefully on November 19, 2019.

Orie was born in Hammond, IN on November 25, 1930. She married Eugene (Gene) Sitkowski on February 11, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 66 years, until Gene’s passing in 2016.

Orie was a stay at home wife/mother, raising her two children in Dolton, Illinois, and later in South Holland Il. When her children reached high school age, Orie worked in the business world as a secretary and executive assistant. Once retired, Orie and Gene relocated to Chesterton, IN.

Orie is survived by her son, Ken (Patti) Sitkowski and her daughter Pam (Dennis) Oliver; her grandchildren David (Mallory) Sitkowski, Thomas (Vanessa) Sitkowski, Steven (Susan) Sitkowski, Michael DeMars and Kyle DeMars; her great grandchildren Perry, Remy, Jack, Ayden, Ben and Doc; and her sister Dory (Wally) Janczak.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Max and Marie Demps, and her husband, Gene.
