Patricia Ann Taylor (nee Bosler) lost her battle with brain cancer and went home to Jesus April 12, 2022, at 7:40 p.m. at the age of 82 with family by her side.
Pat was born on January 1, 1940, to Walter and Lillian Bosler in St. Louis, MO. Pat was a loving mother to Walter Taylor (Jackie) and Laura Ives (Daryl), Nanny (grandmother) to her five grandchildren Isabel Ives, Jack Ives, Dane Ives, Noah Taylor, and Madison Taylor, and Godmother to Tess Daniels and Tommy Daniels. She was a friend to all. Pat is preceded in death by her sister Shirley, her mother, grandson Justin Taylor, her father, and husband Russell Taylor.
Pat was so special. She represented the good that we all need every day in our lives. She was one of a select few who could actually rise to meet challenges with a smile. Pat was kind, loving, and thoughtful to everyone around her. Pat spent her life serving others and spending time with her family and friends. She was a good and faithful servant to Jesus. Pat loved her family, friends, Angels, laughing, music, giraffes, puzzles, movies, the Cardinals, Wheel of Fortune, tennis, and playing cards. To know Pat is to have laughed with or to have shared a kind word, whether a close friend or stranger. Those around her were drawn to her infectious and jubilant personality. Selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted her personality. Pat touched the lives of so many people in her lifetime.
Pat was a hard worker, resilient figure in the face of adversity and a role model to everyone around her. Pat had an unassuming and disarming smile that could put anyone at ease; from newborns to the elderly, everyone was Pat’s friend. Her sense of humor was second to none and she was as compassionate as she was funny. Even when ill, Pat was never angry, sad, or depressed – she could find the silver lining to keep pushing forward in any situation. We are proud to have been able to call Pat our mom and our Nanny. Heaven is celebrating her arrival.
