Peggy Ann Craggs Peggy Ann Craggs 79, passed away at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis on Monday, August 12, 2019 after suffering for years with dementia.
Peggy was born in Oakford, IL to Bernice (Fairow) Troeger on May 10, 1940. She grew up in Sycamore, IL. She lived in Easton, Havana, Bloomington/Normal, IL, then settled in Riceville, TN. She was residing in Buford, IL the last few years of her life with dementia being under the care friends she knew from Bloomington, IL She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed riding horses, farms, old barns, knitting and working with disabled children. She graduated from Western Illinois University in her late forties with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She touched many lives and will always be remembered for her love of her faith, family, and friends.
Peggy is preceded in death by her son David Allen Craggs, her parents, Raymond and Bernice Troeger, and her brother William Troeger.
Peggy is survived by her daughters Debbie Craggs of Bloomington, IL and Sandy (David) Bailey of Riceville, TN, her son Rev. Rodney (Rev. Jana) Craggs of Louisville, KY, her granddaughter Kimberly Kruse, grandson Alexander Bailey, and Brothers Robert (Sueko) and Ralph (Barbara) Troeger.
Peggy will always be remembered as a beloved mother and friend to many along her life's path.
Peggy is now reunited with her son David and returned to the Lord on the same day that David died. Her family will have a memorial service and burial at the next Fairow Family Reunion.
