Richard Charles Robinson, Sr., 81, of St. Louis, MO, died November 5, 2016, with members of his loving family surrounding him and having been anointed by the Sacraments. Dick was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 12, 1935, to Velma Rebecca (Rigby) Robinson and William Alden Robinson. He was the beloved brother of the late Joyce Robinson Rice Laney. Dick married his high school sweetheart, Marion Janet (Emery) Robinson, and, over their more than 63 years together, they raised six children: Debra Lynn Robinson Wilson (Michael), Richard Charles Robinson, Jr. (Susan), Christopher Mark Robinson, Kelly Colleen Robinson Taylor, Tamara Marie Robinson Lotshaw (Lester), and Sean Michael Robinson (Grethen).
Dick was so proud of his thirteen grandchildren: Rick (Mariah), Ryan (Lindsay), William (Heather), Alex (Julie), Taylor (Austin), Megan (Kenzie), Julia (Travis), Chelsea (Adam), Dylan, Melanie, Christopher, Skylar, and Alana. And he loved his seven great-grandchildren: Bayne, Brayden, Connor, Cole, Maxwell, Raeghan, Savannah, and, his eighth, Emelia, on the way.
Dick and Marion have lived in the St. Louis area since 1970 but he is loved and remembered by extensive family in both Little Rock, AR, and in Omaha, NE. And, he will be missed by his co-workers, friends, and clients in Arcadia, MO, where he and Marion owned a home and he worked as a tax consultant until he retired at the age of 80.
The family is planning a private service and appreciates all of your loving thoughts and prayers. Although nothing is expected or needed, the family asks that instead of flowers, donations in Dick's name be made to one of the following projects:
* Miss Taylor's Class '“ Dick's granddaughter Juli is a Special Education teacher in the Jennings School District. She is raising funds to appropriately equip her elementary-age special needs classroom. There is an 'In Memory Of' option. https://www.donorschoose.org/misstaylorsclass

Checks should be made out to the Eureka/Pacific Elks and mailed to 202 Serenity Place Ct., Pacific, MO 63069
* The Micah Program of Saint Louis University '“ Dick's daughter Debbie is the Coordinator for this academic program that allows undergraduate students to live, study, and serve together in the inner-city of St. Louis.
