Richard L. Eye

Eye, Richard Lee, of St. Peters, MO, died on Thursday October 26, 2017, at the age of 71. Beloved son of the late Jesse and Ruth Eye; Loving husband of 51 wonderful years to Maridel Eye; devoted father of Kathy (Ron) Hanebrink and Jeff (Sarah) Eye; cherished grandfather of Hunter Hanebrink, Nathan Eye, Caitlin Eye, Braden Eye, and Clayton Eye; dear brother of Dennis Eye and Wayne (Sarah) Eye; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his nephew, Greg Eye.

Richard was an active member of First Baptist Church of Ferguson, where he worked as Church Treasurer. He was the owner of Total Accounting Service, where his honesty, integrity, and highly ethical nature allowed him a commitment to his clients as if they were members of his own family. Richard was an avid Cardinals fan, and loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events; nothing gave him as much joy as spending time with his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a practical joker with a wonderful sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family is being served by Cremation Society of Missouri. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Ferguson, 333 N Florissant Rd., Ferguson, Missouri, 63135, with visitation at the Church from 1:00 pm until time of service.
